Obituary of Sharlett Gaynor McClara

Sharlett Gaynor McClara, passed away suddenly on February 28, 2024, at Cape Coral Hospital, Florida. She was born on January 26, 1938, in Coeburn, Virginia. She was preceded in death by her parents Ted Powers and Ruth Cornett.  She is survived by her husband James Edward McClara for 22 years; children Gail C. Myers, Karen D. Keeney, Barry R. Keeney, Gary W. Keeney and Allen L. Hilton Jr.; stepson’s David McClara and Jimmy McClara. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. She loved praising the Lord and singing in the choir in her earlier years. She also liked playing bingo with her friends, walking on the beach, and collecting shells. She will be cremated and brought to rest in Pennsylvania with her children. There will be a celebration of life  at Faith Assembly of God Church, 6950 Bayshore Road, North Fort Myers, Florida on Monday, March 4, 2024 at 2:00 PM
