Obituary of Martha Holland Totty

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Martha Holland Totty on June 10th. She was preceded in death by her husband Emmett Totty, and she will be dearly missed by her daughters, Caroline and Stella, as well as her many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Those closest to her remember her as fun-loving, quick witted, and eager to play a game or puzzle alongside her friends and loved ones. She was also a role model to many and devoted to Christ throughout her life: Martha attended Bethel Baptist as a child, served her community in Williamsburg for over twenty years with Grace Baptist Church, and when she moved to St. Augustine in 1985, she continued to serve as a member of Ancient City Baptist until 2020 when she moved to be with her daughter, Stella, in LaBelle, FL. Martha will always be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, and a strong woman of faith. In lieu of flowers, Martha, who helped many foreign missionaries, wished some would make a donation to the Lottie Moon Foreign Missions Offering.
