Our thoughts and prayers have been with you all. Seeing a love lose his independence is so sad to watch. Watching a strong man just go down hill is unbearable. Then losing him is more unbearable. He knew how much you loved him. And we know he appreciated all you did to make the end as comfortable as could be. Praying God will continue giving you extra strength and comfort during this sad time. Be thankful for all the years he was with you. Lean on all the great memories . Some day you will see him running to the pearly gates to greet you when God calls you home. What a day that will be when we get to see our lost loved ones. What a promise to all believers.

Dearest Dad, Thank You for all the memories that I will hold on to forever. The day you passed changed my life forever. My heart is broken and will never be the same. Wishing I could have one more visit with you, one more conversation, one more time to hug and kiss you, one more smile, one more anything!! I am going to miss out talks on the phone in the evenings. I will miss your words of advice and guidance. You taught me right from wrong, how to be strong, and most of all to believe in Jesus. I know I will see you again one day in heaven but, until then I will miss you so much and try to learn to live the rest of my life without you here. I’m glad you are not suffering anymore. That’s the only thing that seems to help me dry my tears at times. I love you Dad, Kim

It will be one week tomorrow that you left us and it just still feels unreal. I will miss you so much. I will miss making up plates of food for Mark to bring you, then getting a bag of all my plastic containers back. I will miss your phone calls to ask me something and it then turning in to a hour conversation about all kinds of stuff. I will miss your advice and wisdom. You were such a smart man, watching this horrible disease take your mind so quickly was just so hard. I know you are at peace now and know everything that is going on now. That makes me happy for you but very sad for all of us here with out you. Until I see you again, I love ya Dad.
