Obituary of Willie Ray Adams

Willie Ray Adams, age 91, of Clewiston passed away Wednesday, March 14, 2012 in West Palm Beach, FL. Willie was born October 17, 1920 in Ponce De Leon, FL. He is the son of the late Oscar and the late Claudia (Bell) Adams. He served in the Air Force during World War II from 10/13/1942 to 01/30/1946. He was a lifetime member of the First Baptist Church of Clewiston. He retired from US Sugar Corporation in 1985 where worked as a commissary supervisor for 31 years. He is survived by wife; Lucille Adams, son; Steven R. Adams (Ruthie Ann), daughters; Angeline Hayes (Edward), Carol Giddens and Martha Taylor (Jay), grandchildren; Angela Lynn Hayes, Cindy Dawn Rhoden (Wayne), Steven Michael Adams (Claudia), Jon Taylor, Jessica Taylor, Jennifer Taylor and Justine Taylor, great grandchildren; Wesley Hunter Rhoden and Jennifer Adams. The funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 17, 2012 at First Baptist Church Of Clewiston, 102 East Ventura Avenue, Clewiston, FL with Dr. Todd Buck and Rev. Bill Derryberry officiating. Interment will be in Ridgelawn Cemetery. Calling hours will be Saturday, March 17 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at First Baptist Church Of Clewiston.
