Dear Laura & Will,
Sending you my deepest condolences during this difficult time. I know that words offer little comfort, but my hope is that the tears you shed now, and in the days to come, will wash away the hurt and sorrow and leave room for the many wonderful memories I know you both have. May you both find peace and comfort in the days ahead. Much love to you both.
Godspeed Elyssa. Rest in peace.

No words can describe the emptiness left in our lives after losing someone like Elyssa. I've had the pleasure of being part of her life for the last 5 years. She was my best fishing buddy and made my life better. The Willis family opening their home to everyone that cared about her in her final days was the most gracious act I've ever witnessed. Elyssa was a warrior and a princess at the same time. She fought cancer on every front. With her mind, with her heart, and with her soul. She wanted to live and she deserved to live. Stuart Scott, after being awarded the Arthur Ashe award for courage, spoke these words: "When you die, you don't lose to cancer. You beat cancer in how you live, why you live, and in the manner in which you live." No speech can sum up Elyssa's fight better than that. She BEAT cancer by not letting it beat her. Even when she was extremely sick, she made it a point to make everyone in the room feel better. Her last act on this earth was to give the gift of saying goodbye to everyone that loved her. I was there, we were there, and I've never been more proud of anyone in my entire life. Your kindness will live on forever through all the lives you touched while you were on this earth. RIP Elyssa, We love and miss you so much!

We have prayer for a long time for this young woman to be healed. Our Lord Jesus healed her in his way not ours! She is no longer in pain and is with our Lord Jesus. She will be missed and hearts are sad at her going to heaven but her heart is now happy. I will now be praying for her family and friends and the loss they feel. Betty & Margie I will continue to pray for all of your family. May God give you peace!
