Obituary of Pauline Y. Pena

Pauline Y. Pena, age 93, of LaBelle passed away Nov. 2, 2011 in Lehigh Acres. She was born Jan. 14, 1918 in Pearsall, TX, daughter of the late Modesto and the late Ciprianna (Rojas) Ybarra. Pauline was a member of Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Church in LaBelle. She also volunteered for many years with Nobles Senior Center in LaBelle and was a member of the "Viva La Raza" Farmworkers Union under Cesar Chavez in Napoleon, OH. Survivors include her son: Benny Pena of LaBelle, daughters: Marie Williams of Atlanta, GA, Louise Contreras of LaBelle, Isabelle Rodriguez of Lakeland and Clara P. Williams (William) of LaBelle, 17 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Jose V. Pena Sr., son, Joe Pena Jr and grandson: Jamie C. Pena. .. A memorial service will be held Friday, Nov. 11, 2011, 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady Queen Of Heaven Catholic Church in LaBelle with Father Chester Domaszewicz officiating.
