Obituary of Opal V. Green

Opal V. Green, age 82, of Moore Haven died Thursday, March 17, 2011 in Clewiston, FL. Opal was born September 12, 1928 in St. George, GA. She is the daughter of the late Lacy and the late Mildred Marie (Crawford) Raulerson. She was a resident of Glades County since 1933. Opal married Julius Green Sr. June 28, 1947. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Moore Haven and was the Preschool Sunday School Teacher for forty-two years. She is survived by her husband: Julius Green Sr. daughter: Marie (Cecil) Wilson of Lake Placid, sons: Julius Green Jr. of Moore Haven, FL, Edwin (Calinda) Green of Moore Haven, brothers & sisters: Mildred Crawford of Lake Placid, Louise Silcox of Athens, GA, Lonnie Raulerson of Ocala and Anne Nesbitt of Clewiston and grandchildren: Cyrus Wilson , Josie Wilson, Dustin Chapman and Lacy Green. The funeral service was held 2:00 pm, Sunday, March 20 at First Baptist Church Of Moore Haven with Rev. Sherrill Tillery and Rev. Earl Cline officiating.
