He was born Feb. 27, 1919 in Fairfax, Georgia the son of the late James Kyler and the late Ethel Edna (Bennett) Davis. He was a Dragline Operator Survivors include two sons: Butch Davis of Clewiston, FL, Bryant Davis of Joplin, MO and two brothers: J. K. Davis of Live Oak, FL, D. A. Davis of Jensen Beach and five sisters: Ruth Dodd of Seffner, Jeannette Kalisciak of Delta, CO, Bertha "Kitty" Goodman of Palm Beach Gardens, FL, Virginia Scott of Jenson Beach, FL, Penny Harris of Tampa, FL; Seven Grandchildren; Eight Great Grandchildren. Graveside Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, February 5, 2011 in Blakely City Cemetery in Blakely, Georgia. Arrangements by Akin-Davis Funeral Home - Clewiston.
