Obituary of Robert I. Emrich

Robert Emrich, age 69, of Clewiston died Saturday, February 19, 2011 at Palmetto Hospital of Hialeah, FL. Robert was born October 3, 1941 in Pahokee, FL. He is the son of the late Paul and the late Iva (Jennings) Emrich. He married Shirley Grissom. He was owner/operator of Emrich Salvage for many years. He was a member of Clewiston Pentecostal Church for many years. He and Shirley were married in the same church 48 years ago. He is survived by his loving wife; Shirley (Grissom) Emrich; daughter Kimberly (Timothy) Laster; sisters Ruth Heilman and Betty Timgreen. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Paul, Jr and sister Mary Ann Taylor. The funeral service will be held 1:00 pm on Friday, February 25 in Clewiston Pentecostal Church, 1021 Johnson Road, Clewiston, FL with Pastor Johnny Abercrombie officiating. Interment will be in Ridgelawn Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, February 24 from 06:00-08:00pm in Akin-Davis Funeral Home, 438 E. Sugarland Hwy., Clewiston, FL. .
