Dearest Kate- Though I am far, far away in a different kind of way, I know that you are nearby. You are watching over your loved ones and you are rejoycing in their gathering and sharing of time and love together- because you always loved to see that... Your smile lives on in everyone. And the next time I am able to attend Resurrection, I can only think of you and I and talking about funky foods, shopping, boys, sweet tea, etc. You were a beautiful woman and I know you are a beautiful angel. You are truly home now, Kate. Though we miss you terribly, we can only be so lucky as to see you again in the Pasture one day... Love, Ashley.

Kate Hatch... Where do I even begin? I miss the countless sunday nights after youth group we would sit together in the car & talk about everything under the moon waiting on our moms to stop talking, hahaha :) I always loved how we could be the kind of friends that didn't have to talk every minute of everyday to stay close. Even if we went a few weeks with out having a conversation I knew you were always thinking about me-especially when I'd get a random text from you every now & then saying how you were just checking up on me. Not much has changed, now. In the short time that you've been gone from this Earth, I still felt your presence just checking up on me like you used to. Enjoy paradise, my friend.. It won't be long before I see you again. Love you always. Praying for your friends and family.... <3

Katie was one of the most loving, trustworthy people in my life. We met when we were little and shared many, many memories together, going to summer camp, sleepovers, making clubs and nicknames just to name a few. I remember one sleepover in particular where we watched the parent trap so many times we memorized the script. We cried when she had to move away, but, in a way, her moving made us even closer. I could tell her anything and everything, she was always there to listen. That is a characteristic that is very hard to find in a friend and I am very lucky and grateful that Katie was always there for me. Katie was one of my best friends and a beautiful person inside and out. She will always be in my heart.

Kate, our family so enjoyed getting to know you the past few years at AUMC. Your smile was like a ray of sunshine no matter where we saw you...at church, at the mall, at resurrection, on the hikes, and even when I was holding your hand as we walked down the icy mountain in Tenn. this past January! We love you and can't wait to see that beautiful smile of yours again one day. Carrie, Eric, Matthew and Mitchell.

Kate-Dear sweet young lady. I was so blessed by our time together at Ressurection this year. Praying with you and you sharing your love for the Lord and letting me a part of that I will never forget. We cried, we laughed and we got to know each other in a different light. So blessed that God blessed us with that time together. Your love and your smile will forever make me smile in times that I feel sad cause you are now watching over us all and smiling down upon us...Can't wait to see you again in heaven and I know your wings are shiny and sparkly-just like your personality. Love you janice

I am so thankful to have a friend, and sometimes mentor, in your life. I truly believe that you caught a glimpse of the Savior and refused to come back to this cruel world. God had greater plans for you in Heaven than we could ever have imagined for you on Earth. While I will miss you more than you'll ever know, I treasure all the fun times we had, the long talks, and even laying it all at the cross. I cannot wait til I see that smiling face again... So for now, it's not good bye, it's I'll see you soon. Love always...

Little Kate...I will miss you dearly. Thanks for making me feel welcome to your youth group. I love the way you were always laughing and smiling. I loved how you would run over everyone in church just to come give me a hug. Resurrection will not be the same without you. I know I will see you again in heaven and look forward to your knockin everyone out of your way to come give me a long missed hug. See you soon and enjoy your new wings.
Love you - Dave
