Margaret P. "Peg" Gingell, 87, passed away peacefully at her home in Fort Myers, Florida on March 25, 2015 surrounded by her family. Peg was born October 26, 1927, in Edwardsville, Pennsylvania to the late Patrick and the late Sarah M. (Boyle) Hanlon. She worked as a Registered Nurse for more than fifty years, ten of which were as an emergency room nurse with Lee Memorial Health System. She also worked as the on-site nurse at the Southwest Florida International Airport. She was active in the community garden club, and enjoyed making floral arrangements, playing canasta and bridge and quilting. Peg leaves behind her husband of 65 years, Donald Howard Gingell Sr., their six children: Debe Galiotto, Don Jr. and his wife Sharon, Kenny and his husband Bob Hall, Patrick and his wife Rhonda, Margaret Ann Principe and her husband Guy, and Rob and his wife Madolyn. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren: Mark, Sarah, Matthew, Michael, Mitchell and Haley Galiotto, Ryan and Katie Gingell, Marlo Jablonski (and her husband Jeff), Reef and Neve Gingell and Caitlyn and Patrick Eakins. Other living relatives include her cousin, Joe Gallagher, and wife Julie, and niece and nephew Doreen Schaffer and Bill Morgan. Special thanks go to those who cared for Peg: the staff of Right at Home, and Hope Hospice House Team 410 Lehigh. We also thank her friends and neighbors for their help and concern. A mass of Christian burial will be held at Saint Vincent De Paul Catholic Church in Fort Myers on April 28, 2015 at 9:00 a.m., with Father David L. Arle officiating.
