Obituary of Geraldine Kollar

Geraldine Kollar, age 70, of LaBelle, passed away Thursday, March 31, 2011 in LaBelle. Geraldine was born March 22, 1941 in Lamar County, Alabama, daughter of the late Gillie Edward Frye and the late Jocie Ileen (Smith) Frye. She worked as a cosmetologist. Survivors include her husband: Joseph C.Kollar of LaBelle, children, Judy (Kenneth) Willette, Monica Lynn McCormick and Don Guinn, step children: Deborah J. Mellette, Virginia Kollar, Carolyn J. Kelley sister: Syble (Wayne) Brewer, brother: Larry (Lynda) Frye and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son, Wade Guinn. Funeral service were held Tuesday, April 5, 3:00 p.m. at Akin-Davis Funeral Home in LaBelle, with Chapain Don Goodwin officiating. Cremation will be at Caloosa Crematory, LaBelle.
