He was born Mar. 20, 1954 in Long Pond, PA, the son of the late Thomas Meckes and the late Dorothy Meckes. He was a former resident of Mt. Pocono. He was a loving husband and hard working friend to all. Survivors include his wife: Kathy Elaine(Allen) Meckes, step children: Michele Miner and Andy Saxon, two brothers: Thomas Meckes Jr. and Richard Meckes, four sisters: Rose Simons, Doris Frailey, Marlene Kovalefsky and Ruth Meckes. He was preceded in death by his brother, Harry Meckes. Cremation will take place at Caloosa Crematory, LaBelle, FL Cremation Arrangements by Akin-Davis Funeral Home - LaBelle.
