Obituary of Judith Kaye Cassel

Judith K. Cassel , 74 of N Ft Myers Florida , passed away at her residence on February 3, surrounded by her family. Judy was the daughter of the late Frederic Heckler and Paul & Doris Heckler Rice . Judy was born in Paris, IL and raised in Danville IL. She graduated from Schlarman High school 1958. Judy is survived by her husband of 55 years Larry G Cassel , 3 daughters Tamara and Rick Tiefel of Clay City, IN, Pamela and Jack Jaeger of Terre Haute, IN ., Victoria "Tori" and Jeff Foley of Punta Gorda, FL . 8 Grandchildren , 20 great grandchildren, several niece and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, step father and 4 infant children. Judy attended Danville Community College in 1969 and graduated with her LPN , Judy was an L.P.N at Lake View E.R. in Danville Il, and Heritage Nursing Center in Paris Il for many years. Judy's greatest love were her animals. She found her true calling at Taylor & Climer Veterinary Clinic, in Paris Il as a Veterinarian Assistant. A memorial service will be held in Indiana at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to your local animal shelter or Hope Hospice. Cremation by Akin - Davis of Ft Myers, Florida.
