She was born Aug. 15, 1946 in Fort Myers, the daughter of the late George and the late Savannah (Allen) Buchanon, Sr. She was a Long Time Patient Care Technician at Shady Rest Nursing Home Fort Myers Survivors include her husband: L.C. Reed, three sons: Willie Ward, Jr. of Atlanta, GA,; Michael (Renee) Ward of West Palm Beach, FL,; Dexter (Vanessa) Ward of Columbia, SC and one daughter: Tonya Brown of Estero, FL. and her brother: Wright Cade, Jr. of Virginia Beach , VA.; and her sister: Mimia Marie Bell of Newark, NJ 25 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 12, 2009 at 3:00 pm in Saint Matthews Missionary Baptist Church, 929 Caloosahatchee Avenue, LaBelle with Reverend Kenneth C.
