Obituary of Johnny Carver

Johnny Carver, age 78, of Moore Haven, passed away December 3, 2012 at Hendry Regional Medical Center of natural causes. He was a selfless man who went through life helping others and loving all of his family. He was chivalrous and a true gentleman. We thank him for sharing his life with us. He served his country for 11 years as a United States Marine and was a member of the VFW. He is survived by his wife of 59 years JoAnne; along with 7 children, 23 grandchildren, 61 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. Visitation will be Wednesday, December 5, 2012 from 06:00-08:00pm at Akin-Davis Funeral Home, Clewiston, FL. Funeral services with military honors will be held Thursday, December 6, 2012 at 4:00 pm at Ortona Cemetery, Moore Haven. Arrangements by Akin-Davis Funeral Home - Clewiston.
