Obituary of Wallace Laverne Griffiths

Wallace Laverne Griffiths, age 83, of Fort Myers died Saturday, March 10, 2012, at Health Park Care Center of Fort Myers, FL. Wallace was born May 14, 1928 in Carbondale, PA. He is the son of the late Stanley and the late Wilma (Hedden) Griffiths. He married Margaret Taylor. He served in the United States Merchant Marines from 1944-1950 and then served in the United States Army from 1951-1953. He was employed as a telephone repairman for several years with New Jersey Bell Telephone Company. He is survived by Wife; Margaret T. Griffiths, Sons; Stanley Griffiths, Stephen (Cheryl) Griffiths, and Andrew (Diane) Griffiths, Sister; Shirley Ann Harris, Grandchildren; Taylor Griffiths, Garrett Griffiths, Crystal Griffiths and Lauren Griffiths. The memorial mass will be held 9:00 a.m. on Friday, March 23, at Saint Vincent De Paul Catholic Church, 13031 Palm Beach Boulevard, Fort Myers, FL with Father David L. Arle officiating. Inurnment will take place at Saint Vincent De Paul Catholic Church.
