Obituary of Ronald Edward Wilson

Obituary for: Ronald Edward Wilson Ronald Edward Wilson of LaBelle was born Oct. 1, 1947 in Fort Myers, Fla. and went to be with the Lord on Mar. 6, 2013. Ronnie graduated from LaBelle High School, class of 1965. Upon graduation Ronnie joined the United States Navy. After his tour, he settled in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. and retired from the State of Florida where he worked for Health and Rehabilitative Services as Assistant Secretary for Operations in Dade City Public Health. Ronnie returned to the LaBelle area in 2008. His maternal grandparents were Theodore and Thelma Yeomans; paternal grandparents were Joe and Pearl Wilson; and parents, Edward Wilson and the late Edna Lanier. He was preceded in death by his grandparents; his mother, Edna; and one brother; David McLamore. He is survived by his father, Edward Wilson of Tampa; brother, Ted Lanier of Fort Myers; sister, Renni (Langford) Lietz of LaBelle; brother, Stanley Wilson of LaBelle. A memorial service will be held Thursday, April 25, 2013, 2:00 p.m. at the Church of God-LaBelle. Military Honors will be rendered by the US Navy.
