Obituary of Edna E Hewett

Edna E Hewett, age 93, of Lehigh Acres, passed away December 18, 2015 in Lehigh Acres. She was born Feb. 9, 1922 in Bonifay, FL, to the late William A. and the late Vera Lillian (Riley) Priest. She is survived by one son: Owen M. Strickland (Beverly) and one daughter: Vera Darlene Johnson, sister: Nell Tiner, ten grandchildren, six great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her daughter Lillian Darnell Mercer, brother, William L. Priest and sister, Virginia Giglio. A memorial service will be held on February 9, 2016 at 1:00 pm at Lighthouse Sanctuary, 19850 Palm Beach Blvd., Alva, FL 33920. Arrangements by Akin-Davis Funeral Home - Fort Myers.
