Obituary of Thelma L. Cook

Thelma Cook, age 94, of Moore Haven, Florida died Monday, February 21, 2011 in Palm Terrace Of Clewiston of Clewiston, Florida. Thelma was born August 26, 1916 in Sebring, Florida. She is the daughter of the late Robert Franklin and the late Daisy Mae (Rivers) Eures. She was employed by B & B Super Market as Manager. Then she worked at the First Methodist Church of Moore Haven Thrift Shop for many years. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Moore Haven for many years. She is survived by her two sons: Tommy Cook of Moore Haven, Florida, Charles Cook of Cape Coral, Florida; one sister: Vivian Braley and two brothers: Russell Eures, Henry Eures; Twelve Grandchildren; Great Grandchildren, Thirteen Great Grandchildren; Many Great-Great Grandchildren; Step-Daughter, Brenda (Larry) Hoots; Special Caregiver, Debbie Jones. The funeral service will be held 11:00 am on Tuesday, March 1 at First United Methodist Church Of Moore Haven, 300 Avenue L. S.W., Moore Haven, FL with Pastor Charlie Watts and Rev. Darrel Braham officiating. Interment will be in Ortona Cemetery, Moore Haven. Visitation will be Monday, February 28 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. in First United Methodist Church Of Moore Haven, 300 Avenue L. S.W., Moore Haven, FL. .
