Obituary of Harold Grady Edwards

Harold "Butch" Grady Edwards, 70, of Moore Haven, FL passed away suddenly on September 23, 2017 in Moore Haven, FL. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 14, 2017 from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Meadowlark RV Park in Moore Haven, Florida. Harold was born in Lake Worth, Florida to Arthur and Hazel (Tarbell) Edwards on May 9, 1947. He was a Professional Truck Driver throughout his life. Harold served two tours in Vietnam Army Special Forces. He was a member of the Moose Family Lodge, V.F.W, American Legion, Polish American Club, Fraternal Order of Eagles, and Foresters Club of Newport, NH. He also gave to many organizations. Butch thrived on life, spending time with family and friends, going fishing and taking others on his airboat. But the love for cooking for others is where he shined. He is preceded in death by his parents, his sister, Mabel L Stevens, his sister, Grace M Brogdale, and his sister, Darlene Quickel. He is survived by his wife, Mary Coderre; his children, Arthur "Larry" Edwards and his wife, Christine. Sherry Hodgdon, Teresae Surething, John Coderre, Raymond Leblanc, Pamela Zampano, and Debra Delucia; his brother, Wayne Olney; his sister Betty Weeks; 18 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins. The Edwards family wishes to thank the Glade's County Ambulance Service, Sgt. Mark Taylor from Glade's County Sheriff's Department and Akin-Davis Funeral Home.
