Obituary of Janice Louise Cady

Janice Louise Cady, was born 1951 in New Haven, CT and passed away unexpectedly on January 24, 2024 in Ft. Myers, Florida. She was 72 years old. “Jan” moved to Florida at a young age with her mother, Evelyn Louise Applegate (1920-1997) and father, Clifton Norman Cady (1923-2011). “I always knew I was loved,” sums up the affection her parents had for her all of their days. As a youth she liked very much to be outside and to make things. These two loves continued to evolve throughout her life. Her gardens were enviable and her arts and crafts graced her home and others as she shared her talents and creations. Jan’s life was a life of service. Not only did she take care of her family, she embraced other opportunities such as running a group home for those in need. She loved the Lord and served in many capacities in her church throughout the years. Later in life she became a nurse- continuing this legacy of helping others. Jan is survived by her three children: Dena Huelsman (Tony), Nicola Moon and Brad Piplar (Heather) & also her grandchildren: Hailey, Tanner, Noah, Taylor, Jaxon, Brooklyn, Willow & Bella. We will miss her dearly.
