Obituary of Alva W. Bethea

Alva W. Bethea, age 90, of Pahokee, passed away October 26, 2017 at Trustbridge Hospice in West Palm Beach. She was born Mar. 20, 1927 in Venus, FL, to the late Lee Vincent and Texas (Albritton) Morgan. Alva was an avid Gardener Survivors include three sons: Terry A. (Sharon) Bethea , Kenneth R. (Terry) Bethea and Samuel E. (Jan) Bethea. She was also survived by her sister: Ruby (Lowell) Anderson, four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Wednesday November 1, at 12:00 pm at the Good Shepherd Church of God 1800 Bascom Point Road, Pahokee, with Pastor Graham Chancey officiating. Visitation will be held at church on Wednesday 1 hour before the funeral service. Interment will follow in Ridgelawn Cemetery, Clewiston. Arrangements by Akin-Davis Funeral Home - Clewiston.
