Obituary of David B Schlager

David B Schlager, a Navy Veteran, passed away peacefully at home on September 7, 2018 after a long illness. He was surrounded by his loving family. Dave and Ellie retired to Clewiston, Florida in 2006 from Islamorada, Florida, where he was a long time resident, fishing guide and property manager. He leaves behind his loving wife Eleanor "Ellie" Schlager, two step sons; Peter Walborn of Homestead, Florida, and Ian Walborn of Islamorada, Florida and a son-in-law Michael Deutsch of Homestead, Florida, two brothers in Missouri and a sister in Nevada, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was much loved by his family and friends and will be greatly missed. Arrangements by Akin-Davis Funeral Home - Clewiston.
