Obituary of Alice Patricia Dankanich

Memorial services for Alice Patricia Dankanich, 77, of LaBelle, will be held at Akin-Davis Funeral Home at 7PM. The family will greet friends from 6:00PM-7:00PM November 4, 2022, at Akin-Davis Funeral Home - LaBelle, 560 East Hickpochee Avenue, LaBelle, FL 33935-5072. Mrs. Dankanich passed away on October 25, 2022. Born in Charleroi, Pennsylvania she was a daughter of the late, Thomas and Alice (Henderson) Wright. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, friend and teacher who enjoyed life. Alice was a retired middle school teacher who taught for over 39 years before she retired. Alice, taught at LaBelle Middle School 20 plus years. She taught adult school and college as well. She also loved to travel, play bingo, gardening, her animals. Alice was the epitome of what a good wife should be to her husband of over 32 years John P. Dankanich Sr. Alice is survived by her son: Thomas Dankanich (Eva) of Deltona, Florida. Eva's children: Adam and Megan; grandchildren, John P. Dankanich III and Thomas James Martin. She also leaves to cherish her memory one loving great grandchild Lila Dankanich.
