Obituary of Connie F. Bull
Connie F. Bull, age 85, passed away October 14, 2022 in Birmingham, Alabama.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 61 years, David M. Bull, Jr., on November 24, 2018.
She was born December 27, 1936 to Addie Mae and Thomas Eugene Ferrell in
Ft. Myers. She lived all but 2 years of her life in Florida, graduating from high school in Toledo, Ohio.
Connie was a 65+ year member of Saint Luke's Church in Fort Myers, Florida, and lived in Alva for most of her life. She was selfless in service to her church and community and particularly to her family. She worked for Sheppard and Roberts Law in Fort Myers and later went on to work for George H. Austin, Inc. and South Florida Harvesting as well as the Alva Fire Department, where she was bookkeeper. She was also a poll worker.
Connie served on the PTL at Saint Michael's Lutheran School through the years as well as volunteering in numerous other capacities there. At Saint Luke's, she tirelessly helped where needed, including various choir camps/Bible schools, choir activities, the church Kairos ministry and Altar Guild. She also spent many years helping church staff with church accounting and bookkeeping.
She is survived by two sons: Allen Bull (Cindy) and Richard Bull (Pam), and two daughters: Katherine Howard (Steve) and Nancy Anne Derums (Matthew), grandchildren: Steven Howard, Jr. (Saylah), Andrew Howard, Elena Bull, Jenny Bordeaux, great-granddaughter Jesslynn Howard, and long-time friend Peggy Taggart.
Requiem mass will be held Saturday, October 29, 2022 at 10:00 am at Saint Luke's Church, Ft. Myers with Father Richard Grady officiating. Interment will follow at Alva Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to St. Luke's Church, 2635 Cleveland Ave., Ft. Myers, FL 33901.
