Obituary of Gerry R Nau

Gerry R. Nau 87, of LaBelle, FL passed away on July 16, 2022 at his residence.

He was born on February 19, 1935 to Harold and Charlotte Featherstone Nau in Cheboygan, Michigan. After graduation from Cheboygan High School he moved to Flint Michigan wher he worked for General Motors. After his retirement he and Donna moved to their vacation place near White Cloud Michigan. Gerry was an avid hunter and fisherman, and after relocating to LaBelle Florida his great love became fishing for Snook. 

He was preceded in death by his Father Harold and Step Mother Edith Nau, his Mother Charlotte Featherstone Nau, Daughter Robyn Nau, brother Harold Nau, and his beloved Aunt Pat.

He is survived by his Wife Donna Kovach Nau, Daughter Cathy Nau of Cape Coral, Florida, Son Michael Nau of Holly, Michigan, and Step Daughter Karie Ann Kuzniar of Flint Michigan. Brothers Perry (Helene) Nau and Wayne Robert Nau of Onaway Michigan. Seven Grandchildren and nine Great Grandchildren. Many Nieces and Nephews and life long friends and of course his faithful companions Cricket and George.

As per his wishes, Gerry was cremated and a Celebration of Life is planned for October 2022.
