Obituary of Herbert R Sapp

Herbert R. Sapp age 81 of Fort Myers, Floirda passed away on December 9, 2021 in Fort Myers, Florida. 

Herbert was born on January 9, 1940 to the late Harold and the late Thelma Flint Sapp. He worked for many years as a maintanence man for Lee County. He enjoyed spending his time fishing, riding his tractor and taking care of his home. He was a genuine man who will be missed by all who knew and cared for him. 

Herbert leaves behind his brothers; Hilton "Doc" Sapp, Jack Sapp, and one sister; Audrey Solomon, His step children; Mary Joe DesRochers, Denise Sullivan, Terry Goodson,  Kathy Tyndall, Craig Pinkston, and Billy Pinkston.  He also leaves behind Wendy Tucker who took care of Herbert in the last few years, along with many nieces, nephews, and extended family members. 

Celebration of Life service will take place on Wednesday, December 15, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at the Akin-Davis Funeral Home  located at 13932 Palm Beach Blvd in Fort Myers, where visitation will be one hour before the service. Burial will be in Buckingham Cemetery.
