Obituary of William Albert Ott

Mr. William Albert Ott, age 78 years old of Fort Myers, Florida passed away after a brief illiness on August 5, 2021. 

William was born on March 15, 1943 in Kansas City, Missouri to the late Wilmer Albert and Dorothy Mae Engelhardt Ott. William worked for most of his adult life as a commercial mortgage broker. He will be dearly missed by everyone who knew and loved him. 

William leaves behind his children; William A. Ott, Jr of Missouri, Tammy Ott Laird of Missouri, Cindy Ott of North Fort Myers, Florida, and Staci Ott Hurst of Missouri, ten grandchildren and three great grandchildren, and close family friend; Wen Leu of Babcock Ranch, Florida. 

Celebration of William's life will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 12, 2021 at Akin-Davis Funeral Home - Fort Myers, where a visitation will be from 5:30 - 6:00 p.m. Rev. Kevin Compton will be officiating the celebration of life, there will be refreshment at the River Forest Community Clubhouse at 7:30pm after the service. William will be laid to rest in Hawthorne Memorial Gardnes in Jefferson City, Missouri.
