Obituary of Virginia Roberts

Virginia Roberts, age 86, of LaBelle, passed away May 15, 2021 in Lehigh Acres.

Ms. Roberts was born in Moore Haven, Florida to Ada Maria Beck and Theodore (Ted) Beck of Lakeport, where Ms. Roberts lived most of her life before moving to LaBelle in 2015. Virginia loved cooking, taking care of her plants and flowers, being outdoors and loved attending First Christian Church of LaBelle.

Ms. Roberts was also a healthcare worker taking care of the elderly. But most of all Virginia loved her children and grandchildren. Virginia was preceded in death by her husband; Leroy Roberts, her son Leon Harvey , both of her parents; Ted Beck and Marie Beck, brother; Teddy Beck.

Ms. Roberts leaves behind two daughters; Marilyn Hollingsworth (Robert) of LaBelle, Tammy Sexton (Troy) of Clewiston, two sons; Randall Harvey of Moore Haven, Michaell Harvey of Vidalia, Georgia, two sisters; Bobbie Swindle of Clewiston, Doris Williams of Lakeport, eleven grandchildren and twenty-one great grandchildren.

Celebration of Virginia’s life will be held at Ortona Cemetery Pavilion on Monday, May 24, 2021 at 11:00 a.m., where Rev. W. T Maddox, Jr. will officiate. Burial will be next to her husband at Ortona Cemetery.
