When I was growing up Uncle Ced was one of the most interesting people I knew. He seemed to know a little about everything, and he was always interested in having in depth conversations about things he had heard on the news or read in the paper. When I grew up and left LaBelle, he always made me feel good when I would come home. He was very interested in what I had been up to and always wanted to visit with me about what I had going on or what I had been doing. I don't remember him ever talking about himself very much. He always made me feel like he was more interested in hearing my stories than telling me his. He made me feel special. The first time my wife came with me to Florida, we went riding on Willy's SeaDo and she fell off and broke her pinky toe. When we got back to Mom and Dad's house she mentioned it and Uncle Ced wanted to have a look at it. So, she took off her shoe and he said "Yep it's broken." That's how we know she broke it, Uncle Ced let us know. He was a good man and I'm sad he is gone. All my love to Aunt Sally, Willy and Ced. I miss you all, and love you very much.
