Trish and I were saddened to hear the news of Scoot’s recent passing. He was such a kind and gentle man, a true pleasure to know, so wonderful to play music with and he, along with Violet, were always so welcoming to their Wednesday evening jams. Our deepest condolences to Violet and family.
We will miss you dear friend.
May you Rest In Peace.

Uncle Scoot.....I love and miss you more than you know....you were the glue that kept this huge family together. Pillar and patriarch, son, Brother, uncle, father and grandfather. You were loved by everyone and everyone loved you.We will try to carry on with the things that you love including God, country music and the Williams family reunion. Give my mom and dad a hug and kiss and as always I will see you in the rapture.

How can I pick one memory of our Scoot. When he and Violet came to visit us the first time, we lived on Green River in Island, Kentucky. Most of his band followed him, and we all had one of the most memorable, happy time for three days. My brothers and sister and spouses came over. Tommy's family came. The night before our Sunday worship at the ministry center at The United Methodist Church, the whole crew gathered for a little practice session. Eugene fired up his cooker and he and Violet prepared fish which had been caught in Alaska, Kentucky, and Florida. We left the church that night and jammed until late at our garage on the Ridge. The music stage was full Sunday morning at church. The Florida musicians, the church musicians, and the Wilkerson family joined together to bring beautiful music to the congregation. When their voices came together, the harmony touched our souls. They sang "Go Rest High On The Mountain." Of course, Scoot sang my favorite song, "Lord, Feed the Children."
Once again Scoot, Thanks for the memories.

Death Leaves A Heartache No One Can Heal, Love, Leaves A Memory No One Can Steal.
My heart is so heavy right now. Uncle Pooter it is still so hard to believe that you have gone to be with the rest of our loved ones. I know where you are and wouldn't wish you back, heaven is truly a far better place. You have all the answers to our family mysteries now, we will continue to sleuth out the truth. You started out just an ole chunk of coal and left a diamond, sparkle bright at night so I know y'all are watching over us. Soon I will join y'all. Always in my Heart! Leann Clark (your niece)

You are my forever brother, favorite because I say so....just because you as so close to me. We live for a purpose and when the day comes for us to go back to God, we gladly obey when He calls. Save me a seat at the table with Mother and Dad and all our loved ones you are with now....including my little boy. I will forever love you and I promise to see you soon. Even if I live for a very long time it still won't be long.
Your Baby Sister,
Darlene
