Obituary of Wilbur Arlin Howard

Obituary for: Wilbur Howard Wilbur Howard, age 78, of Lake Junaluska, NC, presently residing in Lehigh Acres, FL, passed away December 21, 2010 in Lehigh Acres. He was born Dec. 19, 1932 in Fort Myers, the son of the late William Hickman and the late Nettie Pearl (Stewart) Howard. Mr. Howard married Nancy Bailey; she survives. He was a Postmaster for many years. He served his country in the United States Navy from October 24, 1951 until October 20, 1955. Survivors include his wife: Nancy (Bailey) Howard and two sons: Richard Howard of St. Louis, MO, David (Jerri) Howard of Fort Myers, FL, Step-Daughter, Sherri (Jeff) Clay, of Culter Bay, FL. and one brother: Kenny (Julia) Howard of Labelle, FL; grandchildren; Amber, Devin Brandon and Jake. Services were held 11 a.m. Monday, December 27, 2010 in Akin-Davis Funeral Home - LaBelle with Rev. Bill Maddox. Interment followed in Fort Denaud Cemetery, LaBelle.
