Obituary for: Charles Francis Dougherty Charles Francis Dougherty, age 79, of LaBelle, passed away January 10, 2011 in LaBelle. He was born Mar. 10, 1931 in New York, New York, the son of the late Joseph and the late Evelyn Dougherty. He served in the Navy and was a member of the American Legion. Charles was a resident of LaBelle for the past twenty years. He had many close friends at Oakbrook and Grandma's Grove who kept an eye on Charles and his late wife Patsy in their times of need. Survivors include his daughter: Michele Woods (Terry) of LaBelle, grandchildren: Tony Barnes (Lacee), Charlie Barnes (Brittany), Josh Woods (Paula) and Leslie Hamrick(Jesse) and many great-grandchildren. Cremation will take place at Caloosa Crematory, LaBelle. The Dougherty family would like to extended a special thanks to the caregivers at Oakbrook of LaBelle. .
