Obituary of Thomas Milton Taylor

Obituary for: Thomas Milton Taylor Thomas Milton Taylor, age 76, of Felda, passed away August 2, 2010 in LaBelle. He was born Jan. 6, 1934 in Felda, the son of the late Marvin Nixon Taylor and the late Edna Louette (Townsend) Taylor. Tommy was a fifth generation Floridian and lifelong resident of Felda. He was a Deacon at Mt. Zion Primitive Baptist Church in Felda. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend to many. He was a gifted guitar player and enjoyed performing with family and friends. Survivors include his wife: Peggy Illene (Barnes) Taylor, son: Thomas Steven Taylor (Dianna) of Felda, daughters: Susan Lancaster (Charlie) of Felda, Jeanette Van Loo (Scott) of Felda and Sandra Howard (Matthew) of LaBelle, brothers: Fred Lee Taylor of Naples and Dan F. Taylor of Lakeland, grandchildren, Joseph Kennington, Susan A. Taylor, Stephanie Wright; Justin Taylor, Jamie Howard Lepford (Dustin), Andy Taylor, Matthew D. Howard, Kelly Jean Taylor, Shelby Van Loo and great-grandchildren: Christian Kennington, Cyrus Kennington and Nathaniel Lee Ledford. Funeral services will be held Thu. August 5, 2010, 10:30 am at Mount Zion Primitive Baptist Church in Felda with elder Marvin Wingate officiating. Interment will follow in Felda Cemetery, Felda.
