On Wednesday, January 20, Milton Lee Collins, age 70 , of LaBelle, Florida passed away in Lehigh Acres, Florida after an extended illness. His loving wife was by his side. He was born January 7, 1940 in Webster Springs, W.V. the son of the late Raymond and Hazel Carpenter Collins. After serving in the United States Marine Corps, Mr. Collins was a truck driver specializing for many years in propane. He brought many smiles to all he knew with his outgoing spirit and love of life. He enjoyed working on bicycles and golf carts. Surviving are his wife, Dorothy O'Connell Megill, whom he married on June 27, 1997 in Ocean Township, N.J. , his son , Tim and his wife Jane and his grandson Hunter Lee of Jupiter, Florida. Also his twin Melvin, VA, Brothers Kenneth (Margitta) Avis (Deanne) Velair (Kathy) of W.V. Sisters Norma Jean Gibson and Missy Steiger, W.V. Maryann Maher, CA, and Kathy Long, MD. Also his later brother Ronald Joe and many many loving nieces and nephews. He will be extremely missed. Memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 30, 2010 at 2 p.m. in Aqua Isles Club house in LaBelle, Florida. Arrangements by Akin-Davis Funeral Home - LaBelle.
