Obituary of Eugene W. Hough

Obituary for: Eugene W. Hough Eugene Wilson Hough a resident of Clewiston, Florida, died on August 2, 2010 in Oakbrook of LaBelle following a lengthy illness. He was born in Miami, Florida October 29, 1929, to parents John R. Hough, Sr and Nan Wilson Hough. He married Eleanor Gallagher on June 23, 1949 in Folkston, Georgia. He is preceded in death by his brother John Robert Hough, Jr, daughter; Judy Hough Sjosten and two nephews. He is survived by his wife of 61 years; Eleanor Gallagher Hough, daughter Candi S. Mancil, sons; Timothy Hough and Patrick Troy Hough. Eleven grand children and Eleven Great Grandchildren. A long time resident of Clewiston he served several years as a Florida Wildlife Officer. He was owner/operator of Hough Industries until his retirement in 1991. Funeral Services celebrating his life will be held 11:00 A.M. Thursday, August 5, 2010 in Akin-Davis Funeral Home - Clewiston, with Father Samuel Thomas officiating, where visitation will be one hour before services. In lieu of flowers contributions may be donated to the Hendry Regional Medical Center Foundation, 544 West Sugarland Highway, Clewiston, Florida 33440 Arrangements are being handled by Akin-Davis Funeral Home
