Obituary for: Dora A Wilcox Dora A Wilcox, age 84, of Moore Haven, passed away August 29, 2010 in Lake Placid, FL. She was born July 20, 1926 in Morganton, the daughter of the late James Thomas and Dora Mae (Lail) Satterhwite. She was a Dispatcher for Hendry County Sheriff Office for many years. She was a member of Evangel Assembly of God Church for many years, until her illness. Survivors include one son: Gary (Roberta) Wilcox of Hubert, North Carolina and one daughter: Sharon (Robert G.) Harris of Moore Haven, Florida and one sister: Maxine Kincaid of Charlotte, North Carolina; Four Grandchildren and Twelve Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her Husband, O. C. Wilcox, Jr. on March 26, 1977 Funeral services were held Thu. September 2, 2010 at 10:00 am in Akin-Davis Funeral Home, 438 East Sugarland Highway, Clewiston with Pastor Charlie Watts officiating.
