Obituary for: Gonzalo Chairez Sr. Gonzalo Chairez Sr., age 92, of Clewiston, passed away November 26, 2010 in Atlantis. He was born Mar. 30, 1918 in Zacatecas, Mexico, son of the late Jose and the late Felecita (Soto) Chairez. Survivors include sons: Gonzalo Chairez Jr., Ruben Chairez, Francisco Chairez, Ricardo Chairez, daughters: Maria Elisa Chairez, Blanca Chairez, Maria Concepcion Chairez, Maria R. Ayala, Mara De La Luz Centeno, Paula Ramirez, forty-four grandchildren, forty-five great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by wife: Raquel Chairez, wife, Maria de la Luz Chairez,, Jose Chairez and daughter, Elvia Chairez. Funeral services were held Monday, November 29, 2010 at Saint Margaret's Catholic Church in Clewiston with Father Marcial Garcia officiating. Interment followed in Ridgelawn Cemetery, Clewiston.
