Obituary for: Christine Kelley Daniels Christine Kelley Daniels, age 83 was born Feb. 28, 1927 in Cairo, the daughter of the late Barney and the late Isbelle Kelley passed away January 10, 2011. Straight out of high school she started working as a Telephone Operator for Southern Bell Telephone Company and married L.D. Edmonds at 17 years of age in Thomasville, Georgia. She raised her family in Thomasville, Georgia, she moved to Clewiston, Florida in 1969. Her love of God, children, family and gardening were her legacy. She always had a kind word to say about others. She was in love with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Survivors include one son: David Edmonds of Clewiston, Daughter-in-law, Barbara Edmonds, one brother: Donald Kelley one sister: Joan Kirkland, Brother - In- Law, Elton Kirkland; Granddaughter, Christy Curtis; Grandson, Ryan Edmonds; Grandson, Ross Edmonds; Great Grandson, Robert Curtis; Great Granddaughter, Cindy Booth; Great Granddaughter, Brenna Curtis; Great Granddaughter, Layla Edmonds; Great Grandson, Derek Center; Great Grandson; Brennan Dalky, Great Granddaughter, Lily Edmonds; Great Granddaughter, Bella Edmonds Funeral services were held Fri. January 14, 2011 at 10:00 am in Ridgelawn Cemetery, 520 Ridgelawn Road, Clewiston with Pastor Ed Watson officiating. Interment was Thu. January 13, 2011 in Ridgelawn Cemetery, Clewiston. Visitation was Thursday from 06:00-08:00pm in Akin-Davis Funeral Home, Clewiston, FL. Pallbearers were: Ryan Edmonds, Ross Edmonds, Doug Glisson, Allen Kelley, Aaron Pickron and Warren Jones. Christine was preceded in death by her husbands; L.D. Edmonds and Robert C. Daniels, daughters; Diane Curtis and Debra Parker. Arrangements by Akin-Davis Funeral Home - Clewiston.
