Obituary of Nancy Lambeth Ford

Nancy Lambeth Ford Mrs. Nancy Lambeth Ford, age 93, of LaBelle, passed away April 10, 2010 in LaBelle, Florida. She was born in Richmond, Virginia on May 29, 1916, to the late Alva Sherwood Lambeth and the late Nell (Wilson) Lambeth. Mrs. Ford was a former resident of Lakeland, Florida where she was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Tuesday Music Club and a Fellow of the Florida Federation of Music Clubs. Survivors include sisters: Marian Safriet of Ashville, North Carolina and Emily Goodwin of Sanibel, Florida. Grandchildren: Vivian Bennett (Jeff Daniels), Hal Bennett (Nicole Bennett), Thomas Bennett, Kelly Johnson and Todd Cioni and one great-grandchild, Alena Solmo. She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy R. Ford and daughters, Elizabeth F. Cioni and Marian F. "Cookie" Bennett. Graveside Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, April 14th 2010, 4:00 p.m. at Fort Denaud Cemetery with Joel Williamson officiating. Interment will follow in Fort Denaud Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to either Hope Hospice ( www.HopeHospice.org/donate) or to the Children's Clothes Closet at First United Methodist Church ( www.firstumc.org), Lakeland, Florida.
