Clewiston, FL 33440-3126 RE: Obituary: Gaudy Redish Date of Death: January 27, 2010 ____________________________________________________________________________ Obituary for: Gaudy Redish Gaudy Redish, age 90, of Jonas Ridge, passed away Jan. 27, 2010 at Life Care Center in Banner Elk, NC. She was born June 27, 1919, a daughter of the late Gardie Matison and Ona Iowa Lance Waters. Gaudy was a member of Lakeside Baptist Church in Rocky Mount, NC. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Leon Carlisle Redish, brothers: Paul Waters, Clayton Waters, Junior Waters and Jack Waters and a sister: Anna Rue Converse. Survivors include her two sons: Tommy Redish and wife Vanessa of Jonas Ridge, NC, Derrell Redish of Lake Harbor, FL, grandchildren: Brandi Forbes of Newland, NC , Mindi Grissom and husband Scott of Wilmington, NC, Mandy Redish of Clewiston, FL, Kevin Redish and wife Jessica of Conover, NC, Jeremy Forbes of Newland, NC, Chase Redish of Lakeport, FL, Amanda Redish of Florence, SC and six great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held Thurs., Jan. 28, 2010 in the Grandfather Chapel of Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home with Rev. Joe Ingham officiating. A local funeral service was held Sat. January 30, 2010, 2:00 pm at Akin-Davis Funeral Home in Clewiston. Interment followed in Ridgelawn Cemetery, Clewiston. Arrangements by Akin-Davis Funeral Home - Clewiston.
