Obituary for: Alberto Jesus Ramirez Alberto Jesus Ramirez, age 84, of Clewiston, passed away December 27, 2010 in Clewiston, FL. He was born Jan. 12, 1926 in Cuba, the son of the late Alberto J. and the late Myrtle (Geifers) Ramirez. He was raised by his father and step mother Sofia Ramirez. He was a Farmer-Real Estate Broker. He was a member of Saint Margaret Catholic Church in Clewiston. He proudly served in the United States Navy. He was a member of the Clewiston Lions Club for many years. Survivors include one son: Albert J. Ramirez Jr. of Ocala, FL and four daughters: Tica Rivas of Clewiston, FL, Graciela Swindle of Clewiston, FL, Sofia Kirstein of Clewiston, FL, two sisters: Mirta Berry of Rome, GA, Lidia Everett of Miami, FL, grandchildren; Joanie Swindle, Jamie Swindle Lester, Nicole Rivas, Christina Ramirez, Kyle Kirstein, Jessica Ramirez, Kevin Ramirez, great grandchildren; Jason Pagan and Jenna Lester. He was preceded in death by his Wife, Belkys S. Ramirez. Funeral liturgy will be held Thu. December 30, 2010 at 2:00 pm in Akin-Davis Funeral Home, 438 E. Sugarland Hwy., Clewiston with Father Marcial Garcia officiating. Interment will be in Ridgelawn Cemetery, Clewiston. Visitation will be Thursday hour prior to service at Akin-Davis Funeral Home, Clewiston, FL. Arrangements by Akin-Davis Funeral Home - Clewiston.
