Obituary of Helen Josephine Pelley

Helen Josephine Pelley, age 84, of Lake City died Thursday, July 14, 2011 at home in Lake City. She was born September 7, 1926 in New Orleans, LA., daughter of the late Thomas Newton DeCourcy and Ophelia Mary (Olsen) DeCourcy. She was a former, longtime resident of LaBelle and is a member of Eastside Baptist Church in LaBelle. She is survived by her sons, Jack Scott Pelley (Rose) of LaBelle and Douglas Wayne Pelley (Cathy) of Lake City, brothers and sisters: Charles, Thomas, Loretta and Clem, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Pelley. The Graveside Funeral Service was held Wednesday, July 20, 2011, 10:00 a.m. at Fort Denaud Cemetery with Pastor Don Murray officiating. . .
