Obituary of Richard B. Welch

Richard Barnes Welch, age 68, of LaBelle died Saturday, February 25, 2012 in Fort Myers, FL. Richard was born May 3, 1943 in Pittsfield, MA He served in the Army during the Vietnam war. He was a resident of LaBelle since 2007 and was a former, longtime resident of Lehigh Acres. He worked for many years as Shop Manager for A. Duda & Sons in LaBelle. Survivors include his wife: Olga Welch of LaBelle, step son: Hienio Candia of Immokalee and step grandchildren: Nathan, Laura and Angelina Candia. The funeral service will be held Thursday, March 1, 2012, 2:00 p.m. at Akin-Davis Funeral Home in LaBelle with Father Chester Domaszewicz officiating. Interment will follow in Fort Denaud Cemetery.
