Obituary of Ann M. Carver

Ann Marri Carver was born in Miami Florida on November 13th 1954 to Clara Persson and W. H. Persson.

Ann had severe COPD and came down with Pneumonia and Hypoxemia on September 2nd 2018 and after her second trip to the hospital and a short rehabilitation stay at Oakbrook she chose not to go back to the hospital and made the decision to go home on October 22th 2018. After a trip to her pulmonologist that same day her doctor advised and called for Hospice care for her. She passed away peacefully at home on October 27th, 2018.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband George Wayne Carver and both of her parents.

Ann never had her own children but loved her little dog Miss P very much. She is survived by her stepchildren Jerri Lynn Blake (Glen), Stacy Edward Carver (Deonna) and Wayne Justin Carver (Kimberly) and seven grandchildren John and Clayton Merritt, Lisa, Lauren and Xander Carver and Austin and Gwen Carver.

Ann enjoyed gardening in her yard, shopping with her friends and especially craft shows, was a huge TV buff, loved to eat out at her favorite restaurant Red Lobster and you hardly ever saw her without a Diet Coke in her hand.

She was a bookkeeper at A. Duda & Sons for many years before she went to work at the Immokalee Fire Control District in 2000 as the administrative assistant at station 30 where she retired from in June of 2014. She was known as the "MOM" of the fire house and she was loved by all of the fire personnel who work there. Her most treasured possession being a plaque given to her by them for being the Mom of Station 30 in 2007.

As Ann wanted a Celebration Of Life will be held on the Carver property in Felda 16115 S. STATE Rd 29, Felda, FL 33930 on Thursday, November 8th at 4 p.m.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made in her name to the Caloosa Humane Society PO Box 2337, LaBelle, FL 33975 and also to Brister Funeral Home PO Box 3177, Immokalee, FL 34143 for the Terry Heath Headstone Fund, a fellow Station 30 firefighter who was very dear to her.

Arrangements by Akin-Davis Funeral Home - LaBelle.
