Obituary for: Lloyd Edwin Porterfield

Lloyd Edwin Porterfield, age 60, of LaBelle, passed away July 24, 2010 in Lehigh Acres.
He was born Nov. 22, 1949 in Fort Myers, the son of the late Paul Martin Porterfield and Ann Lorraine (Taylor) Porterfield. He was a lifetime resident of LaBelle. Lloyd earned a Bachelor's Degree from Western Carolina University and was a veteran of the Air Force. He was manager of Porterfield Oil Co. and worked there his entire life.



Survivors include his mother: Ann Lorraine Porterfield, sister: Paula Bischel and nephew, Loren Bischel, all of LaBelle.



Services will be held Wed. July 28, 2010, 10:00 am at Akin-Davis Funeral Home in LaBelle with Pastor L. W. Howard officiating. Interment will follow in Fort Denaud Cemetery, LaBelle. Visitation will be tonight from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home in LaBelle.
